Activity 1: Identify the electronic components in your box
Activity 2: Classify the components into input & output components.
Activity 3: Program 01: making the built-in LED blink
Click on this link to download tpr2_u4_ws_crumble_D1. Then:
- Have a look at the activities
- Create the circuit (in this case, only the microcontroller) and then connect the microcontroller to the computer with the USB cable.
- Create the program with Crumble (programming language) using blocks (commands, instructions) from the different menus.
- When finished, click on the green arrow (play) to upload the program to the microcontroller and run it. If everything is ok you get the message Programming successful.
- Check that the program works and call the teacher.
- Before uploading a new program to the microcontroller, click on the red button (stop).
- Create, one by one, the three programs in the activity (the LED blinks faster, slower and differently). Call the teacher.
- Upload the pdf activity to PDF Bob and complete the activity. When finished, export your PDF file and upload it to your Classroom/Unit4/Workshop. Don forget the sticky note, name and surnames...
Activity 4: Program 02: making the built-in LED blink when a switch is pressed
Click on this link to download tpr2_u4_ws_crumble_D2. Then:
- Have a look at activity 02
- Create the circuit (connect the push switch to the microcontroller) and then connect the microcontroller to the computer with the USB cable.
- Create the program with Crumble using blocks (commands, instructions) from the different menus.
- When finished, click on the green arrow (play) to upload the program to the microcontroller and run it.
- Check that the program works and call the teacher.
- Before uploading a new program to the microcontroller, click on the red button (stop).
- Now create the second program in the activity (the LED stops blinking for 5 seconds when the switch C is pressed). Call the teacher.
- Upload the pdf activity to PDF Bob and complete the activity. When finished, export your PDF file and upload it to your Classroom/Unit4/Workshop. Don forget the sticky note, name and surnames...
